I have been a fired Mod for a week now and I gotta say, I'm glad I'm not a Mod here anymore and I wouldn't take the position back. Being a Mod isen't that great. For starters, you can't be who you really are...that's what got me fired. You gotta conform with the site and with what the other mods view as exceptable behavior. Not being a mod means you can let loose and let people know how you really feel about an issue, something I wasen't evidently supposed to do. I could not remain true to my convictions and be a mod at the same time. Also, being a mod means you have to be the bad guy. I don't like being the bad guy but the way I view it is that if you're a mod and you aren't the bad guy once in awhile then you aren't doing your job.
 
Sorry to hear that you were demoted tiger....However assuming a role of "higher" responsability comes with comprimise.....we all know that. I am a bartender i can flirt and act a fool at work. I will NEVER be a manager cause they know I will never change, not for them or anyone else. You gave it a shot and came up a lil short. Nothing wrong with that, Thats what men do, take risks. Being a "regular" member obvioulsey has its perks also (freedom of speach) being a mod could proly get a lil stuffy, having to bite your tongue 9.9 times out of 10.


Not being a mod is not indicative to ones intillectual capacity, or overall knowlege . If your area knowlege is supreme then it will STILL speak for itself.
