WHO WILL GROW QUICKER ??? RTC OR TSN

Actually my TSN grew faster than my RTC. I introduced them both at the same 4-5" mark and the TSN has about an inch on the RTC a year later. Of course the RTC is much wider and beefier but actual length goes to my TSN. I think all fish grow at a different pace due to many variables. Either way both will get get big fast..........unless one actually gets eaten

i duno my 2 RTCs are significantly larger than my 2 TSNs but nothing has happened for 3 years. luck maybe??? :s or maybe its cause they r all old. i think younger fish tend to be more crazy.

I would have to say rtc in sure mass but the tsn would probibly get the rtc in the length catagory.For a while then the rtc would eventually get the tsn.I'll let you know, currently I have a 4" tsn , a 4" tsn/rtc and a 3" rtc . It will be interesting to see the growth diffrences .

Why would you trade a 16" Lima for a 4-5" RTC? Sounds like a huge rip off.
My money is on the RTC. But try to feed the TSN more. It does help.

my 2 TSN ( look at my avatar), and my 2 RTC.....

i got them all in 4 inches approx, i feed them daily, after 6 months....

this is frm my exp...

TSN wins in length, but for the size, 2 of my RTC are much much wider and bigger.

Well i decided to go for it being the RTC was about and inch to two inches smaller than the TSN. So far they're best buds and hang out together all day and night. Time will tell !!

TSN has about 6 months until he is gone. RTC can/will grow from 2'' to 12'' in about 4-6 months depending on how much you feed him. Also they can reach up to 5' or something absurd where as tsn get around 3'. IMHO get a RTC if you are willing to say bye bye to every fish you have and are ready to put him in a 750+ gal tank
