I can't believe this thread can still put a smile on my face. I'm so happy you ended up with her. I just had this wierd feeling in the pit of my stomach the day I shipped her out that let me know I was doing the right thing. Without that feeling I may have sided with Shawn and told the airport where to go. What a shipping nightmare she was, but obviously looking back on it now it was well worth it.

Still doesn't make it any easier to not miss her though, BUT you know what would help? A lil mini Jag growing up with my lil mini Marbles..... Hope I can have pick of the next litter.... LOL :)

Believe it or not she was eating small pieces of night crawler that night. She is eating twice a day now on them. I am going to see tonight it she will take shrimp. Believe me, I am glad you did not change your mind. I have no clue if she is knocked up again but come christmas morning you might want to check your messages :D

Once again - beautiful. I wonder at what stage would she start getting the adult coloration. Any experience around that?

They develop that around the 6-7 inch mark. I think Jags are at their best around 8-10 inches. After that their spots start to get smaller and less clean.
 
Just a warning, you will probably see lots of updates on this little gal. She is 6 days old now and look how the color is coming in.

The tail is a lot longer. From the stinger the males has about half of his left and the female about 1/4. So this pup should look stunning with it's full tail.

Thanks for all the kind words. Can't wait to see the progression over the years.
