I would put them to sleep with long lectures on the real Atlantis and the reasons why they disappeared, and how it is believed that the Phoenicans or later Carthagians took their place as world trade powers. Also expound on the belief that they may have traded with the Early America societies. If that did not work, I would have my students take them out.
