If you are going by prison rules, I am betting on the Texas. Even in a gentleman's fight, I still call the Texas. However, the better answer would be to set-up your tanks in a manner that you wouldn't need to ask things like this (size, live stock, decor, etc). Sometimes fish are going to fight, but if you have a pair of fish that are overly dominating all the other fish. You need to fix it (get rid of the bully fish, separate tanks, etc).
What's so bad about this setup that everybody's crying? Convict/Terror/Parrot/Salvini/Texas are all compatible and commonly kept in community setups, as long as the tank is big enough.
I guess it's cruel for cichlids to fight but it's not cruel to feed em live fish, mice or to watch your arowana eat a duck.

But there's nothing cruel here... he merely asked who would come on top, as in who would rule the tank. There's always gonna be some fighting for dominance in cichlid communities whether you like it or not.
