Arapaima may be big, but it doesn't have the aggression of a Giant Snakehead. The Great White Shark may be HUGE, but people have proven they could swim with it, and debates go around that they mistake humans for seals. Whatever is the case, if it was The Legendary Giant Snakehead...there would be no such debate.

soooooo who here that voted snakehead has actually owned one. I had one a long time ago when they were legal. Mine was not aggressive. It never got messed with but it never tried to attack anything else either. Maybe I'm just crazy but to me it seems like they are hyped up in America since they got banned. They are more popular now than they were when they were legal. Just because they will eat large things in the wild does not show they are mean. Bass will eat anything they can fit in their mouths but they are not extremely aggressive. An airapigma would eat a FULL GROWN giant snakehead.

What you had was a Giant Snakehead? I owned Giant Snakeheads and I speak from experience. And you may say they are only popular after the ban, maybe in U.S but not in its native countries. Do we have news of Bass killing swimmers in the wild? Leaving aquarists without fingers? Destroying glass tanks? AND SO ON AND SO ON!

You can't judge human beings by only knowing your father. Similarly, I don't know what was your experience with your Snakehead was but you can't conclude them with your experience. I know I certainly have not. I never owned any other fish mentioned here, I just voted based on my opinion and experience and all that I have known about Giant Snakeheads since childhood.

ATF is said to look like the most bad ass fish, especially the GATF...but some have said their looks did not promise their personality. That's just what I heard, I have no experience. Wolf Fish, the smaller ones won't stand a full grown Giant Snakehead. The biggest...let's say an Aimara, I've seen a video..pretty aggressive it was. Although smaller than a full grown Giant Snakehead, I have no experience to speak of it.

i have a alligator gar and a giant snakehead,,,the snakehead is way more aggressive than the gar ,,,,if it came to it the gar would not stand a chance

I'm a snakehead lover, but lets get real 5ft versus 15ft in the wild doesnt look good for the channa, even in basketball thats a mismatch, what more in a deathmatch..granted the channa is a fighter but the arapaima we are talkin about here is a fighter too and not the pussy kind...so a battle between full grown pima and channa would end in a well earned meal for the pima...its not a question of heart it's just genetics..too big..too strong...
