To answer your Q's Steve
1) that's a male albino bristlenose
2) I blanch the zucchini until the middle part starts getting transparent, usually about 2 minutes time and then blot dry on a cookie sheet, freeze them on the sheet and then put them in tupperware containers. I just throw the frozen pieces in and once thawed they sink to the bottom
3) the algae eater hasn't posed any problems yet, my silver dollar did have a circular mark on him a couple months back but I'm not sure if it was the algae eater or one of my clown plecos as I've noticed lately they are starting to get an attitude
4) the fish buried in the sand is an albino weather/dojo loach
Zeppelin I vacuum the bottom of my tanks every 2-3 days. Sand is more work than gravel but I find that the appearance it gives off is worth the effort so I don't mind
