Whoo Hoo! It made it!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just dug out a light fixture for the tank. I will get some better pics up tomorrow. I would also be glad to post some weekly pics. Cant wait to see what this one is going to look like.

Btw, definately not photoshopped. I barely know how to use the camera nevermind any software. Actually I am going to ask my wife to take some pics with the "good" camera. I am not allowed to touch it ever since I dropped her last one in my SW clam tank trying to take some pics.

Good pick up!

It is indeed a fading FH, the blue is actually going to turn white(like the piebald midas/parrots) basically it's a JK with piebald markings(piebald midas x FH).

Keep us updated!

this sounds very interesting. please update often to show us how things are going.

Your fish looks like its going to be red and white as where the blue is right now. He/she is malnourished. Hopefully with some tlc, it will be back to normal.

Nice pickup, hope this fish retains the blue in it....it's pretty rare to see a FH with that much bright blue in it.....

Why does every1 say blue FH are rare? lol... Nice pickup bro... Looks promising!

Thanks!

I will get some more pics up sometime this weekend. Forgot it was a holiday weekend. Gotta go visit relatives.

The first one I took first thing this morning. The next few were taken this afternoon just after a W/C. The last two were taken after I added a black backround. The camera was having a hard time picking the fish up without a backround. Here you go.

base on my experience with faded, your will turn out to be faded like other faded out there and that blue color things it will be brighter up and become light orange. As you can see the orange color already show up on the fin. Its good that he can have a good home now. Feed him with lots of blood worms so he can recover faster.
