yeah I am under no illusions that his aggression could just show at any time, I just find it quite interesting that he seems so chilled out.....I suppose I am just enjoying it while it lasts so to speak lol.
it was reptile forums UK and I didn`t cover the venomous section, I got fed up with it in the end....it was a very thankless task! you try to help and end up just getting abuse, it is a very good forum....but sadly seems to be filling up more and more with people just interested in arguing and out do-ing eachother

I keep bloods (curtus and brongersmai) along with burmese, boas, carpets, retics, womas, various ratsnakes and kingsnakes....oh and a false water cobra I never realised you could not keep snakes in portugal! there have been many threats to the hobby in the UK but nothing has ever come of it....I really don`t know what I would do if I couldn`t keep snakes, I would genuinely be lost!....
We could only keep Colubrids ( and bvenomous through a loophole in the law ).
Even a ball python was forbidden.
Now we can keep Constrictors and other species, with the exclsuion of the ( I believe 9 or 10 big ones, such as the 5 big Pythons, Anaconda, RTB - was imposed on us due to public fear of RTB(?), and the big aussies, such as scrubs and Olivaceus ).
Venomous had a grandftahre clause negotiated but are now styrictly forbidden.
Even a ball python was forbidden.

As to Bloods my favorite still is the Breitensteini.
