:) I know i was just thinking about getting 2 of them for $50 and then paying shipping.
What are your experience with these rays?

I don't speak from personal experience, but through observation. I wouldn't chance those $25 retic's (if they're even real retics). They just import the fish and sell them to you as is- no treatment. If you want two, better order five.

My experience......

1st last and only order.......
The reason I even ordered was red tailed vampire tetras (Hydrolycus Tatauaia) I spoke with TFD on TWO seperate ocasions to verify they were NOT Scombs. I was reasured they were red tails. So I ordered 4. 2 lived and 2 died within 4 hours.

Rest of the shipment.......
4 Nandus....all died
1 tire track....died
4 stonies....2 lived
3 pink tailed chelceus...1 lived
1 black devil cat....which was actually a mis IDed ARTC lived.

Last but not least 2 retic rays.... made it about 1.5 months....ate but never gained weight.... Eventually died. THEN my retic which I had for well over a year started loosing weight....eventually died as well less than a week later.

No problem till I call them about the shipment which turned quickly into a screaming match after I asked if anyone knew the difference between a scomb and a tat. Told them most of my fish died and I got a "so" "we are a distributor."

You may get retics to live from them but NOT without the experience of others who have allready made the same mistake you are about to.

Best get a lot of Prazi....you're gonna need it.

Do yourself a favor and buy from a vendor that gives a rats arse if your fish live or die.... Want cheap rays there are better vendors cause after all what good are dead rays? If you want a freezer ray I'de sell you all mine for 10 bux.

I also have a motoro for sale $150 pix are in the buy now section under 8" motoro

Anyone up that way have Tessy eels?

I'm heading up there for school in a few weeks.... Would like to find one by then.
