Here's my ornate, approx. 13-15" Just got her april 30th as a bday present

tRiP how that poly working with those cichlids he looks be enough to eat that jaguar cichlid but also could an ornate bichir live in a 125 gallon for life or do thay need a wider tank

So far so good. I've only had to move 2 fish due to the ornate stalking and striking them and that was my 6" ID shark and my 8-9" goldfish. The goldfish is my mom's favourite because it started out as a little feeder and is now one of my biggest fish.
It's eaten the other 2 goldfish which is fine. It did snap at one of my firemouth cichlids when I first put the ornate in the tank but after that he just wanted the ID shark and goldfish. I also removed my silver dollars to be on the safe side.
The jag has swam right by the ornate with it's fins touching the ornate and it complete ignored it luckily.
Up higher in the thread someone has a 22" ornate and he said it's been in a 90g for 20 years so I guess the 125 would be fine.
