  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
10 gallon:D
Stocking is 1 1" fish haha
PIC-0066.jpg

1 cascade 300
1 whisper 5-15, like 60 gph
1 sponge filter rated for 30-40 gallons
1 sponge filter rated for 10-20 gallons
Just temporary until I find a place for my cascade 300
36x turnover ratio plus the sponge filters

there is one way to over filter get a 3 g tank on a 1000 gallon sump running a 10000galph pump.no fish would survive. to much current.

My turn over rates per hour are as follows...

75gal...4.5
100gal...8.5
150gal...8.2
10gal fry tank...3.0
240gal (planned)...7.2

LOL my SW reef tank has 36 times turnover

Good to see that I'm not the only one...My setup for my 75 gal:

Lifegard 19" modular filters (mechanical, chemical, and UV) connected to Maxi pump (~700 gph, definitely less with the modules), which drains to my Wet/dry. Separte powerhead (~120 gph) connected to the turbo 3x UV sterilizer. Undergravel filter, and plenty of lava rocks (supposedly good for biological filtration). After seeing this will be adding an Magnum canister filter with biowheels (shouldn't hurt right)?

55g with a emperor 400 tetratec 500 and an ehiem pro II 2216? can't remember the ehiems product # for sure. Also had a 10g with a emperor 400 for a while (feederfish)

55 gallon: eheim 2217, AC70 (110 is f*cked), magnum HOT. (im ordering a marineland C360 canister to add on)

35 gallon: eheim 2215, magnum HOT

its not huge, but its the most ive got going on any of my tanks :( lol

my 150 has 2 Emp 400s (might be replaces by a w/d soon) and a FX5 so atm that is a 9.5x turn over rate

I have a 220 with a 33 gallon sump, a cascade 700, and soon an fx5. Also a 55 with 4 Penguin bio wheel 150 HOBs.
