Who's had the most expensive feeder?

I order some marble crayfish (self cloning ones) and put them in my sump, forgetting I had my 2 inch flowerhorn in their. He ate all of them within the first couple hours. 40 bucks down the drain.

He also not only killed but stripped a silver arowana down to its bone, along with a wolf fish.

Find just the spine and skull of those two fish.

lesson learned, keep that damn fh alone.
 
Freshwater

Red tail cat ate a Royal Clown knife. Lost about $80 there.
A Ompok cat ate 10 Caudopunctatus. Lost about $100 there.
And a Green terror ate a L047 magnum pleco. Lost about $50 there.

As for Saltwater

My niger trigger ate a bluespotted jawfish. Lost about $160 there.
 
My friend has an oscar that ate his rope fish... I think it was a rope rish... I forget what it was but they are about $30.00 here in north bay.
 
oh yes and my friend with the oscar always try's to buy my baby mollies, swordtails and platties for $5.00 each to feed to the oscar... I won't let him buy them though. lol.
 
12" Wolf fish took care of not one but two 18" Cobra Snakeheads. Never would have seen that coming. From a dollar standpoint they were priceless as you can't import them into my state anymore. :(
 
i breed koi along with my mom mainly for fun i trade them for sw fish so we break even most days but over the years iv lost about 5 to 10k in koi to air loss due to a crappy Lowe's pump or a big bird that used to come by lucky for me my first breeding stock was either free from other people or 20 bucks iv never paid more then a 100 bucks for a koi(it was actually my mom)but i once had a neighbor who liked my ponds so he built One i told him to make sure its at least 3 feet deep he went two feet he later bought a 2k fish i told him it wouldn't take long for some thing to come by and eat it later that week go over there to take a look at the fish we go out side and his German Shepard has a new chew toy the fish. the guy gave me all his left over koi and turned his pond into a fountain
 
I had a rtc (8-9" at the time)that ate 2 mono cichla, 3 softshell turtles, and a alligator gar...All of which (except for the turtles) had about half their body sticking out of the rtc's mouth. They all eventually became fully digested...Lesson learned...rtc never again!
