I love classic rock, as all mentioned above about the bands - I learned how to play guitar to alot of classic rock.

yea just looked them up they are pretty good did an awesome cover of rivers of babylon I'm also a fan of sublime!
Phish if I remember correctly started in early or mid 80s. Love them too. The improvisations/jamming can go on forever and I never get bored. Classic rock is timeless even tv shows and movies use it as a soundtrack. Con Air: Sweet Home Alabama by Skynyrd, Iron Man: Shoot To Thrill by AC/DC, A Knight's Tale: We Will Rock You by Queen, CSI: Who Are You by The Who, Sopranos: Don't Stop Believin' by Journey...the list could go on.

hell, yeah. It's really sad what they're playing on "classic rock" stations these days...stupid 80s crap. Not that there wasn't any good music in the 80s but it was mostly bands from the 70s like Ozzy and Aerosmith. My favorite...even though it's borderline classic rock...a lot oldies is The Guess Who. No matter who says to the contrary, Motley Cru is not classic rock.

Classic rock just aint the same on todays cd's imo you still cant beat the reel to reel and lp played through a old pioneer receiver
