I saw on the news last week a whole bunch of people [loyal supporters] saying if Clinton/Obama doesn't get elected then they won't vote for the other one! Aren't they standing for the same party? Are their policies really that different? Or is it all about the individual and not what they stand for....
Yeah they are for the same party.. but yeah people vote on individual qualitys of the person running for nomination(have to be nominated by voters/party officials before being able to run for that party) along with considering how the party they belong to stand on certain issues.
History has been if you're not either Rebuplican or Democrat you don't really have a chance at winning as a Independent. It's actually a pretty communistic system.. lol I actually don't think the people who founded the country would want it to work this way.. But some people like the way it works.
