whos military? prior/active

brother is in the army ...left for kandahar yesterday morning for his 4th tour...hes gonna need some prayers where hes going...

Just to ease your mind. Kandahar is a chill spot. Just like the Green Zone in Iraq. The more north you go the worst it gets. But, it's still a war zone none the less. I am also going over sea's to "The Sand Box", but as a contractor.

just curious. going through some of the threads theres alot of terms being used that only military would use, or close military family... so lets have it.

me, USMC since Sep. 2008. stationed in Okinawa Japan. hopefully going back to cali soon for training.... hopefully.

nice my uncle is a retired Sargent of the U.S. Navy and he was stationed in Japan

yea thanks he gonna be there for a week the hes going east to the border of packistan and afganistan.....hes setting up a new camp..im not to worried i just hear alot of bad things happining on the border..4 times to iraq but this time it really messed him up this is the firs deplyment since he had is 2yo daughter. i just hope his head is in the right place. thanks for the prayers guys.
