thankyou, I am usually a design-animation whore :D But I think the first is more striking too, despite it not moving.

Well wes - the best out there pound for pound is probably Mayweather yes. His out of the ring persona is pretty dislikable, he tries hard to be charismatic and also talk trash, but he's crap at it. It comes across as annoying and contrived, as opposed to someone like mayo who is more of a natural trash talker.

But in the ring? He'd bash everyone from 140 to 154 realistically. Very very good fighter, he doesn't have many flaws. Fast feet, fast hands, brilliant reactions, tight defense. Even up close, his chin is almost always covered by his shoulder, and he rolls with the punches well.

His punching power is not great, but certainly good enough to get opponents respect.

He's fighting zab judah on saturday. Zab is probably the fastest fighter, and maybe the hardest 1 shot puncher he's faced but zab is just too full of holes. Sloppy, lacks concentration, not overly skilled etc.

I'd like for zab to win but mayweather probably stops him in 8 or 9 rounds.

The only other candidates for best fighter are past it now. Hops around the time he beat tito was one of the best P4P, but he's over 40 and way past prime now. Same as morales, he used to be one of the very best but he's just got too many miles on him now, too many wars.

How about you? Who do you like? For the past few years my favourite active fighters have been diego corrales and erik morales and of course the pride of Asia Manny Pacquiao :)

If any other fighter had KO'd Morales I would have been really upset, but I can;t hate pacman, he's great. He's like a pitbull with fists.

I can't believe he started his career as a flyweight, and now he's KOing people like barrera and morales at junior lightweight. He's some fighter.

Although mayweather is of course more rounded and skilled, pacman is up there in the P4P rankings, without a doubt.

Mayweather will always be on top there for superb boxing skills. His speed is virtually unmatched anywhere in his division . Very accurate punching, great footwork and well conditioned in the ring. One thing aginst Pretty Boy is that he was kind of selective about who he wants to fight. Other than that . def one of the best !

I also think Pacman has to be in the top 10 . :) I sound so biased because i am.
He just fights and gives it his all. Great hand speed and punches like a welterweight. Theres nothing else to say except he was able to KO all of the current greats in the jr lightweight division... a great feat like you said since he came from 122 .

Barrera is good too. A great smart boxer who can box and adjust while in a fight.
Only problem is that he got smashed by pac and has been dodging him ever since.
Funny how they say he got old when he got defeated by pacquiao. But soon after he was winning fights again. I guess thats what beatdowns do to you. But def one of the Best Pound for Pound boxers out there.

Other than that, the greats are past their prime like you said.

Morales is good, but past his prime . A true warrior, never backs down against any challenger ( unlike Barrera who avoided pac after the 1st fight. ) , can box or brawl , great defense and has a granite chin. I was wild with joy when morales was koed by pac during the last fight but i find the occasion a bit sad when i watch the fight again.

I like Judah too but when i saw him walking like a drunk when he got KOd by Tszyu, i got turned off by his weak chin.

mayweather!!!!!!!!! the true pimp. there hasnt been as talented a fighter in quite some time. noone near his weights will stand a chance for quite some time. he will undoubtedly be one of the greats in the future. he will walk through juda like its nothing. judah can fight but not against a mayweather

mayweather.. HANDS DOWNS

quick mofo

RTF - not biased at all man. In fact saying pacman is top 10 is underrating him. I was a believer after he DEMOLISHED barrera. I thought barrera would win, and he was understandably a 3 to 1 favourite.

He beat MAB like he stole something.

And don't forget wes, a lot of boxing scribes and fans had morales and barrera in the top 5 within the last few years. He beat both of them. He also beat marquez, that was a BS draw. Marquez got decked three times in the opening round, and the rest of the fight was pretty even. Pacman was a bit "left hand happy" after that.

Also - if one of the judges had correctly scored it 10-6 for the first round, instead of 10-7 - pacman would have won. Stupid judge.

Also he actually came from 115! Flyweight. That's amazing. It was only when he moved up to 122 that people started to take notice. He took the ledwaba fight on short notice, flew over unknown, trained with roach for a few days and beat he **** out of ledwaba.

I have pacman in the top 3 P4P.

Also people - like I said mayweather IS the best right now P4P. He's the goods, and a complete fighter, he even has a decent chin unlike his relatives. But don't overrate him. He's not unbeatable.

Many people had JL Castillo beating him in their first fight, though floyd won fair and square in the rematch. And corrales was like a zombie when they fought.

Central - at 140 or 147 I pick hatton over floyd. The guy is like a little bulldozer. Did you see what he did to Tszyu? Who KO'd judah in 2 rounds.
