Yeah it is. I might not even risk it. Both are about the same size right now.

I see a strong divider in your future. Both of those beani are top notch and the fry would be choice IMO. Biggest pair in captivity now that I know of. As big as they both are, the battle would be epic, but not worth the risk as you mentioned. They both look to good to let them get damaged. I'd have to try to breed them using a divider, but I'm really just wanting to see more beani get out here.

I'll try to breed them when I have enough time to concentrate with the hobby. I've busy at work since November and would not end until April.

keep us posted with it all mate, personally id stick 2 eggcrate divider together and use 20 suction cups to hold it up and see how they react through the divider before anything

I dont like using the eggcrate because it messes up the lower lips when they continually attack each other. I'll build/design my own an acrylic divider.
