Bacon is only tough if it's cooked wrong. But I think that's what happened to the other two as well- we all know Clint is hard-boiled and it looks like Mick has been baked a little too long.

Since I'm a southerner and therefore automatically a better cook than all you Yankees, Brits, and Australians in this thread, I'll share a good bacon-related recipe with you. Take some ears of corn (that's maize for you foreign types) with the shucks still on; detassel them and soak them 24 hours in salt water. Then take each ear, peel back the shucks, wrap a strip of uncooked bacon around the ear, return the shucks, and cook on the grill or in hot coals until the shucks are mostly charred. It'll be the best corn you ever eat, I promise.

Im telling you guys clint eastwood is a skinny punk who acts like a girl and is definitely not a tough guy.

FOR EXAMPLE he would not talk to the roofers who did his house in Carmel most likely he was intimidated he sure acted like it lol just some cool samoan fellas :screwy: He made me tell them everything he wanted done and I was not working with the roofers really I was doing his copper flashing and gutter:grinno:
I wish I could share what his ex wife maggie told me about him  I did a ton of copper on her house a nice brick mansion when I worked for Zenda heating and sheet metal. ahhh good times.

So ya got a bit of dirt on old clint? lol. By what you say, I have come to the conclusion that Paul Hogan, the bloke who played Croc Dundee, is definatley a tougher, (not to mention, more well humoured) bloke than Clint, lol.

I had this chat once with Ben, to america BBQ is the flavor of food, not the way it's cooked, when english/aus say babrie or bbq we mean outside on the actuall barbeque but they have a grill but what we call our indoor grill ( you know what we make cheese on toast with they call grilled cheese ) which is actuall made on the broiler

Oh hell, it's on now!

Just curious, do Aussies know the difference between barbecueing and grilling? 'Cause Yankees don't.

This Ben must be a Yankee, as I said they don't know anything about barbecuing. Barbecue is not a flavor and it's not grilling, it's slow-cooking over low heat.

yeah he was, slow cooking? we have bb's every year and its quickly burnt food lol mmmhmmmmmmmm you don't care when your drunk tho
