Who's your Daddy ?

i take it these are the ones your keeping for yourself...I dont blame you! i never was into hybrids and still not sure if i am, but i figure i have to have at least 1, right? lol you are making me think otherwise. majority of these hybrids look sooooooo much better than the pure true line of the original species.

looks like these "Thailand Hybrid rays" are going to be the next best thing to Flowerhorns that came out of Thailand.

Thanks,i will let him know what you guys think of them. All the credit goes to breeder tho on them.

I bought mine from a guy in Calgary. He bought it from a fish store there. He claims it was sold as Henlei but its not a true henlei. I am just curious as yours is very similar. In fact its the closest thing I've seen since I've started looking into it. Any info would be appreciated. I wasn't asking for percentage. I was asking for parentage. In other words what kind of ray is it? I think you misread my post. I guess I could've been more to the point.

I probably read it too fast.
The ones i brought in are BD/Leo mixed with Hen/Pearl .
Here are some pics of 2 of them ,in a tank that actually helps their true color come out.

pic 1 and 2 same ray,1st pic in their tanks in Thailand ,2nd pic is of them in my tanks with just a flat brown bottom.

pic 3 and 4 are same thing.

I really need to get my tanks painted on the bottom at least.I have using gravel or sand.

Thanks for the info. It'll be interesting to see how they develope. Hope to see more updates.

any update on pics on what they look like now? as in are they still brown or have they darkened a bit?

in post 15 with the thai pics and in your tank pics...your tank pics, is that after they are acclimated and what they will look like once acclimated? i guess what i am wondering is that do they or will they keep that "yellow with big black bold lines" or will they look like the color in your tank? does it have something to do with the substrate color or they stressed in your bottom pics and will color up like the thai pics?

They will color up,That brown paper on the bottom of my tanks always shows anythign gold or balck or white as a creamy brown or dark brown.
But i have soemthign in the works and i'l lbe moving alot of tanks and getting all teh bottoms painted up and new lighting. So i can show them off even more.
