This is my 4" Argentea. He doesn't really give anyone else a fair shake when it's time to eat so I've been having to trick him by targeting him with food on one side and feeding the others on the other side of the tank. Sometimes this backfires and he still gets more than his share. It doesn't matter what it is either... Lettuce, Peas, pellets, squid, shrimp.
Here he is gorged up on pellets.

Sorry for the crappy picture I just shot him with the onboard flash.

So who's your pig?

hmmm with my fish I would say its a toss up between my rio meta orino peacock bass and my guyana occels

This unknown CA cichlid hybrid.

He will hog ALL the food, jump out of the water for food, and even though he isn't boss of the tank he will start fights if "any" fish takes his food. Love him though, wouldn't give him up for a $100. He is filled with personality. Here are a few more pictures of him today.

Definitely my oscar.... he likes his food, even if he can't completely fit it in his mouth.

Both of my oscars are pigs, my tiger oscar is a little more of a pig then my tiger Oscar.

Absolutely agree! Our two tiger oscars will eat and eat and eat. They'll even try to eat when their mouths are full to the point where they can't close them because there's too much food hanging out. We always have to make sure they have full mouths before we try to feed the other fish in the tank!
