Hahaha some of these replies are pretty funny. I was just thinking about a barred midas I previously had that was an absolute hog. I also had a female cuban that wouldn't stop eating and loved to eat from my hand. I have to admit, although it's frustrating to watch them gobble up everyone elses food it's pretty comical to watch them as they beg for more even when they're already ballooned.
In my main tank my pearsei is a massive pig. Actually pig is an understatement!
He once pulled in a 100$ auto feeder with 2 weeks worth of food in it. My lemon barb is now giving him a run for his money now. And my Aussie lung is not a messy eater but eats a giant amount of food when he eventually makes his way to the food.
In my other tank the only occupants are a Mary river turtle and a p bass. So it's a tie.
I thought my first Jag was a hog - and then I added a 2nd and he eats so much he can't fit into his favorite hiding spot! It literally looks like he swallowed a golf ball... He just sticks his head in the hiding spot and his fat @$$ sticks out. I thought I was the only one who ate like that!
My sturgeon NEVER stops eating. I mean he is constantly searching for and eating any food he can find, 24 hours a day, 7 a week.
The leapord ctenapoma gulps anything that is within range and would eat until he burst if I let him.
The Clown knife and syntadonis eat like crazy, but at least they will stop when they get full.
