Whose been bitten by their fish?

Worst fish related injury involved a small squirrely walleye.. and it's gill plates.. and late night fishing.. sliced clean across the fleshy part right under your thumb. about a 2 inch gash.. he was just over legal size limit and was gonna be tossed back.. Until that happened... -.-...

I've been bit by alot of other fish as well. But nothing of big note. I've had eels, triggers, puffers, oscars, RBP's all take hits at me. and a few large cats. But none have ever gotten me good. prolly because I had worked with herps that could kill you for one tiny mistake. always watched out for the potential danger, and used some sort of divider if ever concerned. Did have one trigger crack a thin peice of plexi in half trying to get to me.. nasty nasty clown trigger at that. talk about a tank banger. It nailed a co-worker of mine good, had to go get stitches.

I have been bitten by them all and put in hospital several times from others stitches, seizures from being poisoned all the fun stuff.

Australian Lungfish was taking care of it from a friend that would pet it often. I tried petting it and it bit the hell out of the end of a finger causing a subderal hematoma (Spelling?) Anyways it looked like the tip of my finger was going to explode and I got to the hospital where they took me to the ER and burnt holes through my fingernail to release all the puss and nasty blood.

I have it' was a 10" jar. it didn't hurt as much as scared me. It did bleed a little but nothing more then a nasty scratch. but boy did I jump like a girl. lol

I've had many fish bite me, but the worst of all was a little 2" Green Spotted Puffer, lol. Adorable little killers.

my daughters full on red devil Chicken skin gave me a good nip even took my whole index finger up to the second knuckle for that one I am thankful that my reflexes are fast due to being a chef I was able to quickly pull my finger out before he chompped.

Bonita my zebra tilapia will give me love nipps she likes to be petted

My west african lungfish is a grump bugger. He destroys the down pipe on the aquaclear 110 and when I try to put it back together he tries to bite me. 2 time he has almost got me, once when I was doing something I inadvertantly had my thumb in the water, and the other night he literally leapt at my hand as I was dropping food in for him.

nothing really bitten me hard just baby oscar hungry for food and when i had to move some decor and just broke the water surface my pbass thinking it was food and struck me, shocked me non less.
