That may be too noisy and over kill.

But to put in perspective I have had a Rena single outlet run like day 1 for over 10 years of continuous use and its like day 1. Also the double outlet one I have the 400 pumps an insane amount of air I have to dial it back.

So your choices are the noisy industrial type
or for some more money and maybe a little less air a next to silent Rena.
There are obviously more options but Rena has never let me down.

i have the 9500, it's pretty quiet and pumps a good amount of air. i have water gushing out of my ugf pipe even when the tank level drops to half when i do a water change.

u think the rena 400 with both outlets going to the same stone would b ok? or should i go w the single?

it's only been running for a month, i don't think i will have any problems with it though. everything i get from azoo has been good quality in the past.

i just bought a rena 400 and it sucked big time. it was worse then my crappy whisper one. i think it might be defective, its going right back to the lfs...

it has to be defective. it says it will push 12 air stones at 24 inch depth. i bet someone put their old one back in the new box and returned it.

im gonna try a tetratec that is supposed to work at 96 inch depth

The DW300 is what I run two hydor5 spongfilters and a small sponge filter in a seperate tank on. they wrok Great. but you have to make sure you get good Ts and valves b/c I bought some cheep valves and I have trouble controling the air flow to the little sponge. And the 300 comes with 2 outlets.
