  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well my last post on here was 12/13/10,and it's not 1/31/11 and my black still hasn't eaten.. I'm totally lost, i have no idea what else to do.. :( I just hate sitting back and waiting for him to eat or die..:( All my other fish are good and healthy and eating like crazy, it's just him that's a big pain in my ***.

mine died

i force fed him but it was way too late. he was about to die the day after i force fed him, so i put him down :(

I don't think barometric pressure would affect them, as water is an incompressible* liquid.

*Well, we treat it that way, but it is slightly compressible under tremendous pressure, not the sort you get from the atmosphere.
Not sure about that, what about weather (dojo) loaches? They go nutty as the weather changes and I always read it was due to barometric pressure.

Damn, sorry to hear about that..:( Doesn't look good for me, my black still won't even look at food when i drop it in.. I even have small 2-3" fish in there with him and he hasn't even thought about eating one..:screwy:

No, he's a solo aro in the tank.. And all the fish in the tank are Geo's and not aggressive at all.

Seems as if the majority of these blacks dieing off are kept solo. Anyone having these issues when keeping them in groups?

I know johnptc has some and he mentioned he hasn't had any issues with his. It is kinda strange the large solo black aro's are kicking the bucket.. :(
