Mostly positive progress with Chip. He is a changed fish. There's small 'cichlid fussing' but nothing like the previous nuisance/aggression level. It's pretty much him and the Choc nudging/pushing. If it gets testy the Choc puts him in his place quick. He's still protective of his head and is jittery at any motion near his sides. For the most part he is far more peaceful. The others only respond now as he responds. He wasn't eating at first but is eating now. The anal fin looks like it will take some serious time to fully regenerate. The tatty rays are gone. His swimming is normal but he still has the 'head standing' thing going on when he's motionless. It may be a defense mechanism. He still doesn't trust enough to hand feed but is getting there. He still has remnant scars you can see up close.
