I have quite a few tattoo's, including ones on my knuckles and hands - it hasn't affected my job opportunities - but I can say I didn't consider getting them until I was certain I knew a trade well enough for my skills to outweigh my appearance.

Pretty much.. People do that stuff to stand out, to be different, not to fit in. In some of the more liberal states I'm betting most of them could get jobs. One or two are probably in the business of body modification.

Unless I'm wrong I think the thread title was just a way of someone trying to think of a good name for pics that would scare conservative people. I don't think, or would hope, that someone doesn't think they're all unemployed.

I have a half sleeve and work in retail. I was told to cover it up, but i never have and never will. It's my right. I told them if they had a problem I would get my lawer for discrimination. Havent heard a thing since then. I actually love body mods, it's a release for some of us.

Nicely said. I think the OP needs to rethink what he says about people, cause most of those people are employed, somewhat famous online, and prolly make way more then him. I actually love body mods, I have a few tats, but more piecings and gauges then anything. I have to keep everything below the neck or hidden for school, but thats school. None of it affects my management job in retail, and since this is my first job still, (im only 19) I dont know if it would affect any other job.
