The pink betta that I originally passed, but I have had this blue one for quite a while now.

I bred bettas for awhile, and they are still one of the nicest fish out there if they are healthy. I think some reasons people underrate them because they are made out to be a single fish in a bowl/tank, they are mean, they are fish for kids to have, they die quickly, they are boring - you get the idea. If I had the time I would like to set up a 5 gallon planted tank with a betta, or maybe even a 10 gallon.

a betta from a breeder in thailand. most expensive freakin betta I've ever bought. Never again lol it was beautiful though. managed to get through a divider and got beaten up by an average betta the breeder sent to me as an "extra" gift

$35 I think.. not including EMS shipping. It might not seem much compared to some other fish people keep, but it is damn expensive for a betta. Well, I adored it as much as I could've for the short few days it was with me :/
