Why are Goldfish so underrated in the fish keeping hobby?

A moot point, given that I never argued that it was. It's just one of the factors that I think could make them less desirable.

Again, what is your point? We can keep agruing toward and back but you and I knows that goldfish isn't only fish with undesirable traits.
