How much are they there?

I was talking to the owner of my lfs and he said they can get them from Germany for about $395NZ each, which is around $315US. And thats wholesale!!

Like anything else out there, the harder it is to get a particular species, the higher the price for them. Export of WC zebras has been banned due to the species becoming threatened from over-harvesting and loss of habitat. They're not too prolific so, it's a seller's market whenever CB juvies become available.

I didn't know that WC Plecos were not allowed to be sold. I think I will wait a few years to get one. By then they should be available for under $100. Thanks

thats some wishfull thinking.... i doubt they will ever be that cheap unless brazil opens them to export
