why are my flowerhorns losing all there red

Looks like it has a bit of green texas cichlid in it :/

It's a ZZ x Thai Silk. White backgrounds and substrate cause their colors to wash out. Try adding a blue background/substrate.

^^^ Adding to this, dirty water and aggression from other fish can cause this too.
