why are my GTs so different

but yeah bottom one is def a nice little male, looks like he is going to be a stunner for sure, however i think it is still too early to tell the sex of the top one, by the designs within its fins i want to lean towards it being a subordinate male (or younger/late bloomer) i would let it grow a bit more and then post pics again or just vent it and know for sure

I agree with both of you i get really annoyed when people see pointy fins and automatically think its a male I have posted so many times explaining...:nilly:

to the op top one looks female... body shape is really round indicating female... pics arent to great either so we cant be 100% sure yet... I would vent to be sure...

heres a pic of my female when she was younger definitely looked male but patches of blue/green on gill plates gave it away... she also had some nice fins going too..
