It says 100 per cent silicone rubber, but on the back it says not for aquariums (see picture). What gives? It says it contains Methyltriacetoxysilane? Is that bad?
I think I've read that they include the aquarium bit so they aren't liable in the event that the silicone pops and your house is flooded with hundreds of gallons of water.
Then, pass on GE. Look for 100% silicone sealant (Aqueon is a good brand). I've never understood why anyone would look for cheap alternatives on something that can save him/her from a home-damaging flood and the loss of expensive specimens. If someone can't afford the safest basic necessities of the hobby they should look for another hobby.
