It might take a few weeks, sometimes they just don't feel like breeding, if they have done it once before they will do it again guaranteed. Just give it time, before you know it you will have so many electric yellows you won't know what to do with. I just stripped 3 female s in the last week and I've got somewhere around 60 fry in a grow our tank. Good luck

75 gallon, 7 yellow labs, 1 pleco, and 1 random fish I have no clue what it is. Just a little under stocked lol.

Well you might need more fish, this is a picture of my 80 gallon cichlid tank, there is around 30 fish in there at any given time. They breed like rabbits.

There are several ways to bring fish into breeding condition, these are some which I have used, feed the fish with live bloodworm or frozen bloodworm, bring down the temperature of the water by a few degrees, this sometimes triggers off spawning. On the other hand fish like angels prefer the temperature to raise a few degrees. water quality is very important, a change of about a 1/3 a week should be OK for most species. Provide plenty of caves / pots in the tank for the fish to breed. As the fish are a breeding pair you should have no worries, nature will take its course and you will soon have the fish spawning in the near future.
