Why DIY when you have kids???

Love it, did you outline it with a template or freehand? And what will you cover it in? I am VERY interested in doing this for my 55g.

In the bottom pic the girl on the left is mine(Miranda) the one on the right is her cousin(Cami) they are both 5 yr old and love to take care of fish. Cami's dad has 2-55gal, 2-29gal, 20gal and a 15gal. Miranda is actualy building this for her tank that I have let her pick what was going in it. She has chose to go with frogs, newts, fish, bugs, worms, no spiders, I told her a duck was just to big for a 55gal, wanted an aligator until I told her that it would eat her frogs, and I think she said something about snake. So after all the stuff she wanted in the tank we decided that some frogs would be nice and a few fish.
Im in the middle of coating the styrofoam in concrete and will get a few pics on here soon to update. After I concrete it I then paint and seal it all with fiberglass resin. Im trying to figure out the best way to keep the fish safe and this a first atempt in making a background. I have a 250gal ply/glass tank that the kids helped with also but it has been put on hold for awhile again because I will be having another kid in July. I can afford both. LOL I will try to answer questions if I can.
