Sorry to hear that. I work for a company that also deals with new home construction and they have been laying a lot of people off the past couple of months. My wife really wants me to find a new job because the home market is so unstable.

You could always consider moving to an area where the house market is on the rise. There's a city in Oregon where house appreciation went up 33 percent this year alone. Not a bad place to flip homes.
