Green igs come in EVERY single color of the rainbow, Ive seen pics of a wild one in Central America with a PINK HEAD, INSANE! Blue ones, black ones, orange, red...And now of corse the blue, white and yellow cb ones:D And dont forget Santa Lucia green igs:naughty:

Hummmm....no...the colors do however become brigther outside in direct sun ligth.
 
alot of the color on an igg comes from where they are from. most from central and south america will have the reticulated pattern that you are talking about and ones from mexico tend to have more red/ oranges in them. i forgot which book i read it in but it has seemed to hold true for the most part.
