Why do members still host their pics?

And if you look up alot of the old photo threads from '05 they'll be empty or you'll see alot of red x.. Sucks..

I always upload directly btw, doesn't even give me a fail when my pic is too big.

yeah same here. ive always use hosting sites as well. i just recently started attaching pics a few months ago when my company started to block hosting sites.

and yes, i havent been able to see your awesome photography

no!! you can also type in between pics when attaching. you just attach all your pics, then open the manage attachments tabs, and insert each one you want in between words and what not.

Ahhhhh, well thanks Jcar!!! Now I just need some new pics to attach...although the last time I attached pics they moved my thread on me to "show off your" so I lost the thread (well, didn't loose it really I knew where it was) but others really couldn't comment or whatever, cause it was in a different post then.

im not sure if you guys know this, but you can just copy and paste images now straight into your reply box, i only found out recently.. no need to upload or anything, unless of course you wanted the images in your albubms..

yup, i realized this too! its will just link the pic from whatever website its from. great!

Just curious, I noticed a lot of people still use other websites to host their pics, like photobucket, ets. Why do you guys still do this? You can attach all of your pics through MFK and its much quicker! No need to take that extra step.

Reason I ask too is because photo hosting sites are blocked at work and I can never see pics. So everybody start attaching pics so I could see them again!!!

Because I am on about 10 sites regularly and half don't have that option..I don;t really double post much.. BUT.. It is easier to pick and choose if I am utilizing Hosts... As I cannot link photo spam...

Pics look better when hosted on other sites. MFK compresses photos so they don't look as good.
