I don't understand why they don't get the concept of glass. I mean, fish, snakes, and other animals do. I'm not saying tortoises are dumb, no way, my tortoise is very smart. But why do tortoises do it?

Vicious_Fish;1235783; said:I agree with everyone here that tortoises and most other land turtles like box turtles, should NOT be kept in glass aquariums where they can see out. This is very stressful to them. Stick with rubbermaid tubs or custom made enclosures.
