Why do u buy fish in singles, pairs , trios, etc.

I buy individually because if I buy fish, it will most likely be aggressive and when 2 alpha predators meet, one is going to Fish Heaven!

I tend to buy in 2's and 4's. A few of them I just got one to see how it does(Bumble Bee Cat), or if it's only supposed to be by itself. Like my Hammers Blue Lobster.

yeah another reason i buy in 2's is because i feel like they need a friend and the only friend they could have is someone who looks like him
