It amazing watching a pair of cichlids with their eggs/fry and how they interact with the fry, the environment, and with eachother. The way the female signals with flicks of her fins, how she spits food out for them, the way they rearrange the tank, and the pair working together to defend their brood.
It's very rewarding and entertaining.
