The problem actually starts in your own head. First, you are under the assumption that these people's opinions have any value. Second, you are believing that their words reflect what they are actually thinking. Third, you are basing your value on the volume and quality of these responses from random strangers on the web. We should mean nothing to you. You are a complete, whole, strong human capable of doing amazing things and feeling good without our help. So go do something awesome.
This forum is mostly for experienced keepers to post about their cool collections, and for novices to ask why nemo is dying. Everything in between is fluff, largely ignored. My own posts are largely ignored, because I'm an average poor person with a pretty average collection - even though I have some awesome fish in my own opinion! I fully expect photos of my orinocodoras eigenmanni (the largest known specimen ever recorded in history) and my short-body jade goby (only two in the U.S.) to be looked over and ignored, because they aren't a fancy, wild giant fish with a funny name and collection locale. So get over it. Your joy comes from within, not from a bunch of fish hoarders sitting on computers.
