I upgraded to a 90g tank on saturday. i bought the top of the line sump and the top of the line everything hoping it would get rid of the smell, and make me stop having to do daily 10 gallon water changes. but no, it still smells. really bad. i did a water change, and it still smells, it smells in the sump too. does anyone have any idea why???

1x jack dempsey 4"
1x Amph Red Isletas 5-6"
1x clown loach 3"
1x common pleco 4"
1x channel catfish 4-5"

parameters: ammonia: 0 nitrite: 0 nitrate: 10ppm

Any plants?

The only things I can think of since it isn't ammonia, is that there are either dying plants or old fish food stuck somewhere (Which can smell AWFUL). Check your lids... maybe rinse your filter pads in tank water.

Are you saying that your tank never smelled, but now this one smells bad after having it only a few days? Did you purchase the tank and sump new, or was it used and already smelling bad? Is the sump your only filtration? What do you have as a substrate? Perhaps you should vacuum the bottom more frequently rather than just doing water changes (if you don't already).
