Why does my tank smell?

I will get the aquarium salt and see if that helps out.

Should, just keep track of how much is in there, only a couple teaspoons are necessary to protect the whole tank i believe. It won't make the nitrite go away, it will just prevent it from going into the fish. If you got ammonia too Seachem Prime will detoxify ammonia if you're dosing with your daily waterchanges until the filter catches up and removes it

Not sure about the source of the smell, but if you wanna remove it, carbon is the way to go

+1 I always throw a bag of carbon in to clean up the smell and get the water crystal clear. Just dont forget about it!

Also, I have checked all through the tank, and I don't see anything dead. I moved the rocks around as well to make sure nothing was trapped as well.
