Why doesn't anything ever work out for me??? Absolutely devastated :(

I am absolutely devastated right now. I worked hard to get these guys and I also feel bad for the last owner. He raised them 1-2" babies.

These guys were a gift from RUDY in Calgary, Alberta. He shipped them to Vancouver and I drove up to Vancouver from Seattle to pick them up. Even got clearance from F&W too that I was bringing cichlids down.

I drove 2 hours each way and I picked them up right when they arrived. But when I opened the box................................ They had punctured the bags.

I took them back with me to the USA anyways. Cleaned them up for my buddy so that they will not have died in vain. May they RIP. I don't even care about losing the shipping money, I am absolutely devastated that I didn't get my fish.

Btw, there were eggs too

Local doesn't work. I've almost pretty much cleaned out all the local Monster sized Peacocks that I know off. Well at least the ones that are realistically priced.

I know it sucks. But it's always a gamble shipping fish and a even bigger gamble shipping Monster size fish.

A gamble I was willing to take.

Im like that with Leopoldis too. I have had no problems with other rays, even the delicate ones but for some reason if already killed 2 leos. All i gotta say is do not let this stop both you and i.

We gotta keep on truckin and get our elusive fish (es)!

this doesn't stop me. Only thing that stops me is financially. You know how my "Fish Hobby Money" situtation works. So it's not easy for me to buy fish all the time. and I can't grow fish out as I only have 1 tank. If I had a few more spare tanks I would have ordered 100 small ones a while ago.
