Wow u are devoted. U seem like good guy. I have a 8" C. carpinte u can have. No its not the common Texas Ciclid ( C. cyanoguttatum ) Even though it looks similar!!! I was gonna try an breed him so he has been lovingly taken care of!! Anyways i live in Toronto if u want em e-mail me...I also have a trio of C. bartoni 4"s, two of em seem to be pairing off. These guys were a gift from RUDY in Calgary, Alberta. He shipped them to Vancouver and I drove up to Vancouver from Seattle to pick them up. Even got clearance from F&W too that I was bringing cichlids down.
I drove 2 hours each way and I picked them up right when they arrived. But when I opened the box................................ They had punctured the bags.
I took them back with me to the USA anyways. Cleaned them up for my buddy so that they will not have died in vain. May they RIP. I don't even care about losing the shipping money, I am absolutely devastated that I didn't get my fish.
