Why don't I find something girly to do?

now listen to me whine

my mom's friend came over and noticed my pets, so she asks me nicely what else I liked besides "ugly animals", so I answer with the truth.. which is basically photography, camping and quad riding.
then she goes "oh... well you better find something girly to do"

she's not the first to tell me so but I don't really see myself as a tomboy lol
people almost have no respect around here, and since I'm still 16 it's my dream to be a Zoologist and/or a wildlife/animal photographer (which I've already started with) and all I get is "your future looks dull" :WTF:
