Ordered from the Filter Guys... expect the product to land of Friday.

With that said, why exactly cant I/we connect the hot water line or hot & cold to the drip system?

Tried looking on the web but failed in the search:irked:

Any links or key words so I can look into it

Thanks all!!

Well now that I posted I am finding some stuff... go figure Lol

I think some people do hook up hot and cold and adjust it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

yeah but there goes the longevity of your system, seriously think about it, in a drip system, does that literal drop of water need to be at the same temp as the tank? or do you think the instant that water hits the tank it is already at the right temperature.

If I understood it right there is more metals in the water if it's hot, thats why you never boil hot water even though it would go faster.

So you can't use hot water in a drip system because of mineral content? I'm lost because when you do a water change, you ARE using hot water to make the water the right temp.....soooo what's the diff here
Lol

It's actually better to use slightly colder water than in your tank during water change. But yeah it is a bit hot maybe.
