this is just plain stupid though. the water is probably 65 F there, and they were raised in probably about 80 F.
fish don't live long in waters 15 degrees lower than what they should. most NA native fish (in the north) have bodies built to live in conditions. crazy teeth and most, if not all, have spikey dorsal fins. the rtc could possibly be a snack.
