yeah, you're def right about the availability though. I wanted a female RT, but as a juvenile I couldn't tell the difference at the LFS, I bought it and gambled....it was a male. He's still small and Im really hoping he doesn't beat up the polypterus enderlicheri, which is currently 3 times his size, when he gets bigger. For such an aggresive fish he is suprisingly skittish and kinda picky about what he eats. Not being biased though, i prefer the looks of the male and female RT to the GT.
why go with a GT over a RT?
